New Dental Devices
Feb. 13th, 2023 11:52 pmLast week I went in for a cleaning and got some predictable news. No cavities (I've never had a cavity), BUT my gums are shit. I have periodontal disease. Also, because I'm a weenie I never got my impacted teeth extracted, lol. So my new dentist is urging me to have the four teeth removed (UGH). I want Invisalign, but I have to deal with the gum and impacted teeth issues first, bleh.

To help with my shitty gums my dental hygienist suggested I purchase the Oral-B IO electric toothbrush along with a Waterpik. I ended up buying the two in the same day. The Oral-B is fantastic! I don't have to do much, I just need to point the brush head on the tooth and the brush does most of the work.
Now the Waterpik, was a different story. The first night I used it, all the water/rinse mix sprayed on the walls, mirror and my freakin hair, lol. It was so ridiculous I had to laugh. It took a good week to get used to it, but I think I got the hang of it.
