2nd Pfizer Booster + Flu Vaccine
Sep. 17th, 2022 02:18 pmGot it done last night.
Interesting enough, this time around I have different reactions. Unlike the first booster + flu, I have no fatigue and almost no arm pain, but this time I developed a low grade fever, very mild headache, achy joints + eye, and just a general feeling of being sick.
Nothing major, I'm still able to function.
I'll have to see what happens within the next few days.

Triple Negative
Feb. 9th, 2022 02:37 pmYes, I've taken two more COVID tests since my mom tested positive.
I felt like I was coming down with something for a day, but nothing beyond a sore throat happened.
*shrugs*
During my semi symptomatic day, I tested negative.
It was probably allergies, or maybe I did have COVID and the viral count was so low the test didn't pick it up.
Who knows.
I finally received two free COVID tests from the Biden Administration. Still waiting on the other two. Better late than never I guess.

Positive and Negative Results
Jan. 23rd, 2022 11:25 pmNegative

So far I tested negative for covid and I'm asymptomatic. I will retest in about a week to see if my status changes.
Positive

Unfortunately, my mom tested positive. She is VERY symptomatic. Luckily, she's only experiencing cold/flu like symptoms. For reference my mom is double vaccinated, but she didn't receive the booster yet. I'm also double vaccinated, and I got the booster in November.
My unvaccinated idiot sister refuses to be tested despite showing symptoms.
Whatever.
She probably brought home the virus, since she was around a bunch of people who tested positive for covid.

Flu + Booster
Nov. 14th, 2021 07:20 pmYesterday I got the seasonal flu shoot along with the Pfizer booster.
Not sure if it's because I got both at the same time, but today I spent the entire day in bed. I feel like I got hit by a bus. At least I'm feeling better right now.
Tomorrow is going to suck.
Edit: Monday evening I felt back to normal :)

Pfizer/BioNTech Vaccine
Mar. 24th, 2021 12:53 pm I got the first dose/shot this morning. To my sister's disappointment, so far nothing serious has occurred, lol. I will give her this one. I do have allergies and on occasion have developed hives. I always carry my Epi-Pen, so I'm not too worried.
Second dose is scheduled for April 21.
I wanna take a nap, but that's due to the oxcarbazepine.

COVID-19 CURE!!!
Apr. 25th, 2020 02:58 pm

Never thought in my lifetime I would hear a government official, let alone our president talking about injecting disinfectant and UV light as a way to battle the corona virus. We all know Trump is a moron, but injecting disinfectant level idiocy?
I hope other countries are taking notice and will make better choices in their leaders. If we had competent leadership we could have minimized the amount of jobs and lives lost.
I'm not going on a full rant about Trump, because what's the point? November is coming and I will do my part to vote him out of office.
Everyone stay safe! And remember do not ingest disinfectants, lol.
Everything Will Be Ok
Mar. 24th, 2020 08:55 pmEverything is fine. Nothing to worry about, it's like the flu.
All that talk about states on the verge of running out of medical supplies and beds is fake news. We need to become MORE social to defeat the virus! Going to work, school and public places where lots of people gather will get this country back on track! All this talk about social distancing is liberal elitist garbage meant to hurt Mr. Trump's economy!
I don't know about you, but I feel soooooooo much better with this plan! Everything will be ok!
U.S. Has Passed the 27K Amount
Mar. 21st, 2020 07:46 pmAs of this entry the US has 27,711 confirmed cases of COVID-19.
Elections matter and have consequences. I hope those who didn't vote understand the importance of voting for a competent candidate. I also hope those who believed our president about COVID-19 being "a Democrat hoax," understand now how serious this is.
Congress is being incredibly slow implementing an economic rescue package for displaced workers. If you don't reassure people that their financial and health care needs are covered, people will be less likely to peacefully comply with any lock down order.
If Italy is any indication, we are looking at our health care facilities being overrun soon. It's already happening in NY, it's only a matter of time before other major cities report the same. Hopefully the shelter-in-place orders will help slow down the spread.
At this time, I'm still working on-site. As a city government worker I'm required to come-in. The City is dragging it's feet implementing a remote work place plan. To make matters worse my former boss, the guy who hired me and an overall great person, was let go on Friday. Bad timing.
So much uncertainty and anxiety.
