Everyone who knows me, knows how much I dislike AT&T due to BAD past experiences with them. Since AT&T and Charter Cable (another bad company) has a dupology in my area, I signed up with DSL Extreme that uses the AT&T lines. But the catch was I had to have a current AT&T landline number to get DSL service (I could get dry-loop service, but the monthly bill would come out to be the same as the much faster cable internet bill). Fine. Got a new number. It's been a week since the services was suppose to be activated. According to AT&T, my line needs "additional repairs," and it will only be "a few more business days." Repairs?! What repairs?! You mean the same circuit that EVERYONE in my apartment uses?! You mean that line/circuit?!?!

I call shenanigans on AT&T. How foolish was I to think they have changed. I should have stuck with my gut and went with someone else. How can a large company like AT&T be so incompetent? And here I thought Charter was bad...AT&T is even worse!
