Severe Sleep Apnea
Apr. 6th, 2023 05:28 pmGot a call today that my AHI (apnea-hypopnea index) is 70 episodes per hour, apparently that is considered severe sleep apnea. That explains many things, especially my chronic insomnia.
Gotta give credit to my new doctor for LISTENING to my symptoms and ordering the sleep study test. I thought it was a waste of time, but boy was I wrong, lol.
The sleep clinic put in an order for a CPAP machine. Any associated copay will be communicated to me in the following days.
UGH.
I shouldn't complain about wearing a breathing mask to bed, lol. There are worst things...
