Week 11-12 on Ozempic
Feb. 22nd, 2025 09:22 pmI was ready to claim victory on the constipation and vomiting, but it came back. I thought incorporating a magnesium supplement would help with the constipation. It didn't, but it did help with that worrisome fast heart beat, lol. What helped me go poop? I drank an electrolyte powder that contain artificial sweeteners (stevia and sucralose). Since those types of sweeteners give me a laxative effect I was able to go within the hour. I stopped because I was consuming it everyday and the weird tingling in my fingers came back. Around September/October when I was dealing with electrolyte imbalances I was drinking that powder everyday and developed this weird tingling sensation in my fingers. I wasn't worried it was seizure related. I worried it was diabetes related since I am pre-diabetic. So now I'm at square one since the fiber gummies have stopped working.
Right now I'm trying the following in order to poop:
Since I'm averaging 1-2 pound weight loss a week, and struggling with constipation, nausea and vomiting I don't think taking Ozempic is worth it. I'm going to finish my dose then see how I fair without it.

- Taking the fiber gummies
- Taking the magnesium supplement
- Upping my fiber intake by eating more fruits and veggies
- Upping my water intake
- Using laxatives
Since I'm averaging 1-2 pound weight loss a week, and struggling with constipation, nausea and vomiting I don't think taking Ozempic is worth it. I'm going to finish my dose then see how I fair without it.
