Yes, I realize many of you know this, but for me it was a OMG moment seeing this image. For the longest time I just assumed their beaks only opened at the end to consume nectar. I was wrong, lol.

Oh! What an odd pose--usually hummingbirds always look majestic ;-D I didn't know they could open their beaks either.
