Stay Home for a Week Miss A Lot

 I'm still recovering from this God awful flu. Been taking Mucinex to help expel the phlegm from my lungs and help with breathing. I'm doing so much better, I even sound better. Still have this deep, at times rattling cough, but I'm sure within the next week or so it should resolve itself.

Work is in chaos.

Just got two emails that my awesome boss has been promoted and the guy from Planning, whom I very much dislike, will take my boss's place.

UGH!!!

I'm happy for my boss, he deserves it, but damnit. All the well. I was seriously thinking of calling it quits after this project is completed. Now I don't feel guilty for planning my exit.

I'm scheduled to return on Monday. Work is going to be:

Flu is so, so bad. I'm sorry that it's taken you so long to feel modestly better - fingers crossed work isn't too insane!

This morning I felt really productive, I put together my IKEA bookshelf, but that's all I might get done today :D

I hope your exit plan goes well. It's always a good idea to have a plan B!
