Cheesecake is Sick

He spent the night under observation. If the blood test warrants it, he might receive an antibiotic shot.

Technically, Cheesecake is my sister's bird, but she won't contribute to his medical care costs. Apparently she "has no money." No, what she meant was she has no money to spend on her own damn bird. She sure has money to spend on an ugly $45 lamp. This stupid bitch is pushing 50 and she still doesn't have a sense of responsibility. Fuck that fuckin twat. 

Anyways, I hope Cheesecake will be okay.

Cheesecake is Ok

He's alive.

According to the vet, Cheesecake has liver disease, which caused him to become severely dehydrated. The vet feels the liver issue is due to his advanced age. Ok..then why give him enrofloxacin, which is an antibiotic. My conversations with him never mentioned an infection. Covering all the bases I guess? Tomorrow I'll be talking to the vet again to clear this up.

He was rehydrated, got some goodies then got to go home.

I'm grateful for the positive outcome.

I'll be giving him non-alcoholic milk thistle and aloe vera for his liver.
