A Few Bright Spots

Today I got my service contract refund check for the Tiguan. The amount is $1700 and some change.
So that's pretty good.

Right now I'm stuck in the VW service department waiting for my car.
So I left the sun roof open overnight...one too many times in a row. To make a long story short, debris is stuck in the closing/opening mechamism of the sunroom. I was informed my service warranty would not cover any repairs since it's not a manufacturer defect.
*Sigh*
At least I had some luck with Microsoft. My beloved Surface Pro 4's battery expanded so much it pushed the screen outward, lifting it from the device's chassis.
Yeah.
Device is out of warranty, but I contacted Microsoft support anyways. Turns out it's a safety issue and Microsoft will replace my SP4 at no cost. So that's pretty good :)
