My Frustrating Week
Mar. 16th, 2014 01:54 amMy week started off kinda annoying. The eBay seller never disclosed the Lumia 920 I bought had issues. Very shady. Fortunately for me the phone is still under warranty. So Monday I sent my beautiful phone off to Nokia Care and imformed the seller about the status of the phone. He never responded, but that is ok, because if the phone doesn't work out I'm coming for him!

I was late for Wednesday's class to drop-off my withdrawal petition. I was feeling guilty about dropping a class, but it had to be done. I'm feeling much better lately, but occasionally I do run into some speed bumps. By speed bumps I mean there are times where I feel awful. I know it's going to take a while for me to get back to optimal health, but knowing that doesn't stop me feeling defeated and frustrated at times.
After going to Enrollment Services to get my petition processed I got to class about 30 minutes late. Then I gave one of the worse drawing efforts to date. My proportions and anatomy were WAAAAYYY off and I just couldn't get the whole figure in my 2 minute gesture sketches. UGH.

Went to FIDM Los Angeles to sketch costumes for my sketchbook assignment. I must say the costumes from movies and tv were beautiful! I just didn't like standing and sketching for long periods of time. I felt it affected my sketching ability. Also I didn't appreciate the traffic coming and going AND the awful parking (trying to find that stupid underground parking was frustrating! When I finally found the parking it was full!). Not to mention all the superficial conversations that I overheard while sketching. Yeah, I know it's LA, but come-on! I heard one guy talking about his nose job and some other chick acting like she could design and sew better than these award winning costumes. Considering how far and exhausting the drive is to LA, I won't be making the trip to FIDM on the regular and quite frankly the whole experience was a bit of a let down.

Drove my sister to UoR. Compared to my school commute, the 30 minute drive to Redlands wasn't bad, just wasn't the best day to do so. I felt a bit under the weather today, I suppose it was my fault. You would think since my diet is extremely limiting I would be a size zero by now...but NOOOOO I'm still the size of a whale.
Bleh.
Anyways I gotta get some sleep blog more in the following days :)
