So I asked God, to reveal the cause of my deliberating fatigue no matter how ugly the truth was. And boy is it ugly. Second round of tests came back. With an A1c score of 6.1% and a fasting glucose of 126 mg/L it's official, I have what some would call "pre-diabetes." Let's be honest here, there is no such thing as "pre-diabetes." Lets call a spade a spade--it's diabetes. Fortunately for me my diabetes is in the early stages; however I've already experienced some worrisome symptoms such as blurry vision, fatigue and burning/tingling sensations in the tips of my fingers and feet.

To make matters worse my liver function tests came back high. Since I tested negative for hepatitis, my doctor concluded I have non-alcoholic fatty liver disease. That would explain the dull upper right pain along with some minor abdominal distention.

At least these two conditions are reversible. I've already changed my diet to a high protein (only lean meats like fish) low carb diet plan. Hopefully with a new diet in place I can finally lose some much needed weight.
