Rapture-Palooza: A Big Joke
Jun. 4th, 2013 04:22 pmYou mean to tell me Hollywood has made a movie making fun of Christian beliefs?! NO! That can't be! I refuse to believe it!!!
In all seriousness, I can't say I'm surprised, they've succeeded selling sin in a pretty little package to the unaware masses, why would this be any different? The only funny scene in this trailer was when the guy was raptured while on the toilet. I have to admit that was pretty funny. The rest of it...not so much. I felt shock, anger and sadness. Shock, because I wasn't expecting anyone to 1) care enough about Christian Prophecies and 2) dare to anger so many people, but apparently I was wrong on both accounts. Anger, because of the way they are trivializing this very important event. Sadness, because of this movie, some might not take the warnings about the end times seriously and think it's a big joke.
We all have free will to place our faith in whatever we want, but it's still depressing when you see people outright reject the gospel. Unfortunately for them, one day they will find out it was no joke and it will be too late for them.
