Instead of doing a self-check regarding my new year's resolutions, I prefer to vent about school.
School has been incredibly stressful. I attribute the stress from my serial procasination, the subject matters and on-going personal issues. One class in particular is just taking up most of my time and that class is beginning painting. I want to say I hate it and it's the teacher's fault for going too fast, but I can't. Surprisely I'm actually starting to like it, it just took me a while to get used to working with arcylic paint. I got behind doing the color chart and now I'm stuck trying to finish the collage that was due weeks ago.
UGH.
I wanted to give up and drop, but this is my LAST semester before transferring so these classes are quite critical. Why should I give up now when I put so much work and effort in? Not to mention the amount of money I spent on the supplies. I'll finish up the collage today and see what the teacher says tomorrow.
Speaking of transferring and school, CSULB is being incredibly SLOW giving us transfers their decisions. Most if not all other CSUs have already let freshman AND transfers know months ago. Just yesterday CSULB FINALLY released the first wave of decisions, and of course I wasn't included. Just as well. I should just relax and concentrate on the work I need to complete for my painting class.
I can't wait until this semester and this annoying waiting game with CSULB is over.
At least I'm doing good in all my other classes :)
