Back to School
Feb. 15th, 2012 04:53 pmIt feels weird again taking on-site classes again. I miss taking online classes, especially more so when I think about the price of gas, hunting down parking spaces, or sit in a hard chair for a few hours. However, I must admit it somewhat feels good to get out and feel like a normal person again, interacting with the world at large.
So far I've attended two courses: ART-2 and ART-24. They're not the most exciting or even remotely interesting, but they are major prerequisites requirements that need to be full-filled. I still have to attend ART-26 and COM-9. ART-26 is the painting class that I know I won't do well in, while COM-9 is the dreaded speech class. Out of the four classes I'm taking, COM-9 is the most important, considering it is an essential requirement to transfer to any CSU. Basically if I don't take this class, I won't be able to transfer in the fall.
Transfer. The word is so exciting, but at the same time a bit unnerving. At this point I haven't gotten a decision from the top three CSU's I want to attend. CSUF will either reject or waitlist me. SJSU is still combing through the applications, I won't know anything until later this month or next. CSULB has my transcripts, but no decision has been made yet. It's a frustrating waiting game, that I wish would be faster. Oh well, I'll know soon enough.
...
Oh and I almost forgot...I'm so sore!!! Walking up and down those stairs is serious business!
