Car Surgery a Success!!

My car on its way to the car hospital.

Battery was completely dead. Bought a new battery with extended warranty for $250. Considering how smooth the car drives now, the battery must've been going bad for a while.

*Sigh*

It could've been worse I suppose.

Quite...the engine could have dropped out or the timing belt gone bust. I guess in California you can't really get away without driving?

HA! I have an unrealistic fantasy about that, lol. There are times when I wish the entire engine would fall out during service. In my little mind I could swap for a better car, lol.

Not having a car in Riverside is doable, but difficult (limited service area/times), especially now with the COVID issue. If I lived in a larger metropolitan area, say, Los Angeles or San Francisco getting around in public transportation would be easier.

Despite my hatred for traffic and all the money I need to invest to maintain it, I like the freedom it affords me and my family. It definitely has its pros and cons. For me the pros out weigh the cons. :)
