Honey Boo Boo
I kept hearing about "Honey Boo Boo." Now that I've chosen to forsake reality TV and most kinds of entertainment genres, I was absolutely in the dark. I kept wondering, is "Honey Boo Boo" a pampered yapping monstrosity? Is it some kind of tasty snack? Or was it some outlandish Anna Nicole Smithish reality "star"? After reading an article I finally understood what this pop-culture phenomenon known as "Honey Boo Boo" is all about. Turns out it's some unfortunate little girl that is being exploited on national TV for money and fame (reality TV fame, but nonetheless).
*Sigh*
This type of story never gets old does it? Family uses kid(s) for a cash cow, cash dries up, family turmoil ensues and the kid becomes a mess. I truly hope that doesn't happen to her, but the odds seem to be against her.
