This can't be said enough...

Nearing the end of my second week contracting for my former/current (?) employer/client. It's been an adjustment due to weather and shitty home conditions (family). I've applied for a second job. I hope I get it, because I really, REALLY need to move.

Politics is still a shit show. Truths reveal themselves daily, and as expected the Republicans do nothing.

It hit 115 today. The heat is killing me. As I get older the less tolerance I have for the excessive heat. I drove in my air conditioned car for a few hours. Thank goodness for that.

Returned to work on Monday. My boss brought me back with more pay and more hours, but the catch is I'm now a contractor, not an employee. Whatever. I wasn't getting benefits anyways as an employee. Plus I can work my own hours and from home.

Trump is still an embarrassing Putin puppet. The Republicans are still spineless little worms. So nothing new on that front.

I wanted to sketch Paul Ryan, but I didn't feel like doing anything. The heat just sucks the life outta me.

I heard Wacom's Bamboo Ink was out and decided to try it out. It BLOWS away the Surface Pen, in terms of EVERYTHING. Best $70 I've spent in a while.

Haven't sketched/drawn in six months. It feels GOOD to sketch again. I'm a bit rusty tho. It took me forever to get into the flow of sketching again. Which may explain why I sketched this asshole, Mitch McConnell waaay better looking than he deserves to be. I should've made him bald with super big eyes and a super small mouth.

No worries, I'll do better next time.

Watch out Paul Ryan. I'll be sketching you next.

Because I'm a glutton for punishment, I've decided to binge watch season five of House of Cards.

Why not?

Who cares if real life mirrors fiction and vice versa. At least President Frank Underwood is sexy, cunning and intelligent. While Trump is ugly and stupid. Even though I'm living through the real thing, I'm at the edge of my seat watching House of Cards' Underwood hold on to his Presidency.

Couldn't have said it better myself. In the US the traditional divide has always (well mostly been) Republican vs Democrat. Now it's Republican vs Americans. Current day Republicans are spineless traitors to the American people. How much longer will these fools stay silent?!

HAHAHAHA!!!This is the best thing he has done.

At the time, his angry and desperate tone so much reflected mine. Five months ago things looked bleak. It looked like no one in Congress and especially in the media were willing to question and stand up to Trump.

What a difference five months make. After a series of very serious blunders the talk of impeachment is growing louder by the day--and rightfully so! I'm encouraged by bipartisan show of unity by liberals and #NeverTrump conservatives.

I can finally see the end of this nightmare, even if it's in the far distance.

#ImpeachmentWatch continues!

What treachery will Trump unleash tomorrow? Stay Tuned...

Keep this up you orange monster, your impeachment will be here sooner rather than later.

I had to step back last night and avoid posting. Hearing about the firing of former FBI Director James Comey and the confirmation of multiple Grand Juries regarding Trump's Russia connection made me off the walls crazy LOL.

First i was waaay down and enraged. Having the guy who is investigating you, fired is not a good look no matter who you are. It makes Trump look guilty. And well he is.

Then upon hearing about the confirmation of the Grand Juries from CNN, had me less angry and more hopeful. The news wasn't a huge surprise, because Claude Taylor, Louise Mensch, John Schindler and Keith Olbermann have been talking about that subject for a few weeks now. They were ahead of the msm by weeks. And the same people are now talking about coming indictments, which has put me in a much better mood.

As usual Olbermann is spot on. His somber mood accurately reflects the serious and alarmed tone of the nation.

Since when is telling the truth a cause for celebration? In the Trump era, the truth is like a rare unicorn--it's not seen everyday, but when it surfaces it's a sight to behold. That unicorn is Sally Yates. She told the truth and defended it like a champion.

Like always, Keith Olbermann summarizes the Sally Yates and Michael Flynn fiasco quite nicely.

Orange Monster

Har har har! We're so proud of ourselves. We took the first step to cut essential healthcare for millions of people. Cancer? Congenital birth defects? Sexual assault victims? Sorry you're all outta luck! No pre-existing health conditions allowed! For the rest of you don't ever get sick because you won't be covered for anything. Either that or get a job with health coverage, I mean every employer that ever existed offers great health coverage and it's not like great paying jobs are finite or anything. If you think about it, it's really your fault for being such losers and poor sacks of shit! Be rich like us--problem solved!

These rules don't apply to us, we are covered under the old ObamaCare rules that includes coverage for pre-existing health conditions, because we are special and better than you.

America, no hard feelings! Yeah, ok you and your loved ones will may die, but look it's for the best. Us one percenters are struggling too you know. I mean the tax breaks from this bill will help fund essentials like a new yacht, a few new gold toilets and maybe a totally sick (pun intended) Aston Martin with diamond encrusted wheels. See, waay more important than human lives.

In closing, we worship the powerful and almighty god of money, greed and corruption. In other words we don't give a fuckin shit about you or your sick babies, unless of course they can be used for our political gain. The religious right are such morons they buy into simplistic terms like "pro-life" without realizing they are anything but...

Anyways enjoy your life! And remember...don't get sick! Or ELSE!

All the best,

Your House Republicans and Friends

I hope Louise Mensch and others are correct about the status on the #RussiaGate investigations, because the orange monster doesn't know what the hell he is doing.
nibblezz: (Default)

Like usual Keith is spot on about Trump and the 100 day mark.

nibblezz: (Default)

I'm watching Keith Olbermann. It truly is the end-times.

Flynn asks for immunity in exchange for his testimony.

Do you hear that? It's the sound of deafening SILENCE from Trump nation. Absolute SILENCE.

Oh and...

nibblezz: (Cheesecake)
Such a stupid past two weeks. I wish I could take a month off from everything. Doesn't help the embarrassment that occupies the White House is seeking to dismantle our environmental protections, healthcare and other essentials. Don't even get me started on #RussiaGate. When will this asshole get impeached and thrown out of office?

At least my car rocks :) I call it a "baby" SUV. The VW Tiguan is considered a compact/small SUV. The increased visibility and riding height just blows the Jetta away. And those annoying deep dips? I can drive right through them without significantly slowing down. I mean I don't recommend you do that, but if the need arises I can without freaking out that I'm scratching/damaging the bottom. I can never go back to a regular car.

So there's that, otherwise my life sucks at the moment.

I seriously need to get off of Twitter today and get stuff done. The news cycle about #RussiaGate is absolutely nuts! So many twists and turns.

The Trump Administration couldn't tell the whole truth if their life depended on it. As the President of the United States, he has the power to declassify whatever he wants, including the supposed "illegal" wiretappings of Trump Tower. So what's the hold up?

Oh wait...that's right, it's just a deflection and an attempt to reframe the whole situation. What better way of taking the focus off of your own shady Nixon-like Russian dealings than to accuse a former President of illegal wiretapping.

Expect some serious SPIN from his camp in the coming hours, days, weeks and maybe months. LOL. Won't work Donald. Most of us can see right through your desperate attempts to hold onto the Presidency. I guess we'll see what new/worsening allegations tomorrow holds.

On a related note, being a Russian diplomat or someone connected with the Trump dossier shouldn't expect a long life span. How convenient.
