Fustrated

End of work week. These are my brief thoughts how I felt during the week while on Topamax:

The Good
  • No more insomnia. Sure there are times I still have trouble falling asleep, but the medication will guarantee I knock-out no later than 1-1:30am.
  • Less serious twitching/tremors.
  • Almost no occurrences of the jaw clenching/tongue biting.
  • Almost no right-side weakness.
  • Emotional health has improved. There are times were I want to freak-out, become very angry/depressed, but didn't.
  • I'm forced to go to bed earlier, which isn't so bad. I wake up more refreshed.

The Bad
  • I have to drink LOTS of WATER! That also means I HAVE TO PEE A LOT. IT'S ANNOYING.
  • I can't concentrate very well, which doesn't bode well for my job.
  • If I don't take my medication by 7:30pm, the next day I will be one giant lethargic slob.
  • Fatigue sucks.
  • Nausea sucks.
  • Blurry vision. To be fair, I had blurry vision before I was on Topamax.

And now this car issue needs to be resolved. The dealership is dragging its feet. Why would they prioritize my suffering? They have their money, they sold a car. Maybe I need a lawyer.

Topamax

I'm back on it. I hope it's temporary. The last time I was on anti-seizure meds, full-time was in 1999. At least this time around it's only 25mg, fairly low dose, compared to my peak worse.

*Sigh*

Anyways, I'm waaay too tired to write out my feelings on the matter. Think I'll wait until the end of the work week to reflect and express my thoughts about everything.

There Is a Cricket in My Room

 Yup.

It just started to chirp. My birds are like WTF?
...

Nice little distraction from all the craziness in my life and of course the world around me.
...

Florida is one day out from hurricane Irma's impact. Good luck to whoever foolishly stayed behind.

What a Headache

UGH

Why is everything so difficult for me? All I wanted was to buy a brand new car that is reliable and would transport me and my passengers from point a to point b.

That's it!

I LOVE my car, except that it's making me sick! Literally, sick. I have always been sensitive to harsh chemicals, and I did expect having a minor temporary issue with the new car smell, but six months later I didn't expect to be having these issues:
  • Severe headaches
  • Moderate sinus inflammation
  • Moderate to severe sinus, face and ear pain
  • Breathing issues
  • Lightheaded
  • Vertigo
  • Twitching (yes muscle and limb)
  • Memory issues
  • General feeling like shit

After attempting to remedy the situation myself (ex. changing cabin filters, airing car out, placing bowls of baking soda under the seats) I couldn't take it anymore, I contacted the dealership. On Monday, they agreed to clean out the car's ventilation system with a special "deodorizing" foam. On paper that sounded good, except it made my symptoms WORSE!

Was going to watch Wonder Women this weekend, but didn't feel like sitting in the chemical wasteland on wheels. And plus I just don't feel well enough to go.

Sad to say, but if this doesn't resolve itself in the next week, I'll be forced to get rid of the car. I have a liver issue and used to have a seizure disorder, so it's a lot more important for me to be healthy rather than drive a nice, brand new car that's making me sick.

LULz America

*Sigh*

Each new day, brings chaos and 'WTF' moments.

Between firings, hirings and utter stupidity, who is running our country?

If you were to tell me, Fuzzy the office hamster is making all the decisions, I would believe you. Actually, the thought of a hamster running this country over Trump and his goons, makes me feel better and safer.

Until tomorrow...

Blah

Other than the freak show in the Whitehouse, nothing really new to report.

All is well with work. No craziness yet.

Still dealing with the new car smell/VOCs

Putting money aside to move out.

That's about it.

I (WE) Told You So!

What a week!

First we have a war of words between two unstable nutjobs that have access to nuclear weapons. Then our nutjob "president" decides the threat of nuclear war with North Korea and China isn't enough, Trump had to bring up the possibility of an armed conflict with Venezuela.

WHAT. THE. EVER LIVING FUCK.

Remember when all the pro-Trump morons accused the anti-Trumpers/Never Trumpers of overreacting to a Trump presidency and dismissing our VERY valid concerns about his misogyny (possible sexual predator), his racist rhetoric, his mental fitness and his intellectual deficiencies?

I do. Especially when each new day brings about embarrassment, dazzling displays of incompetence, chaos and stomach-churning uncertainty. It's gotten so bad, that my idiotic sister who WAS (heh) a very vocal supporter has now turned against him.

I ask this question, yet again: what will it take for the House and Senate Republicans to do their jobs and remove this orange disaster from office? Will it take an actual nuclear exchange for them to do anything?

I'm not holding my breath. Doing the 'right thing' is a lost concept on most in this country, why would our corrupt and spineless politicians be any different?

And finally, to end this abominable week, one of this country's most vile and disgusting enemy, the White supremacist decides to make an appearance. Re-branded and now known as the alt-right, they staged a marching protest, complete with lighted TIKKI TORCHES, nazi salutes and chants of "blood and soil", "White lives matter," and "Jews will not replace us." The next day one of the neo-nazis KKK members White nationalist/supremacist alt-righters decides to drive into a group of counter protesters, KILLING a young women and injuring many more.

The interesting thing about alt-righters is they don't have to hide behind hoods and blankets anymore. Why? The election of Donald Trump has emboldened them, gave them new life. Why hide, when our very own president appoints members of the alt-right to cabinet/admin positions, and champions their causes. David Duke said it best in his response to a Trump tweet:

"I would recommend you take a good look in the mirror & remember it was White Americans who put you in the presidency, not radical leftists."

I can't argue with that. A good portion of Trump's base are alt-righters (White nationalist) and that is a problem for our country. This can't continue. We as a country can't endure much more of Trump's incompetence, regressive policies and the emboldening of White supremacy. Our worst fears about having a president like Trump are coming true.

Would it be bad form if I shouted to all whom voted for him, "I TOLD YOU SO, YOU BRAINLESS MOTHERFUCKERS!!!" that a Trump presidency would doom us all?

Fallout 5: Nuclear Winter

I wish I was talking about the post-apocalyptic video game series.

Sadly, I'm not.

Another temper tantrum has flared-up between two man-babies who have access to nuclear weapons.

Living in California, I don't think I would survive a nuclear strike from North Korea. But hey, there are positives dying in a nuclear war. Let me list some of them:

1) I will never have to pay back my student loans. What a RELIEF!
2) I will never have to hear my stupid sister whining about her rotten teeth again.
3) I will never have to see or hear from the bloated orange pig again!
4) I will never have to deal with those two douche faced web developers.
5) I will never have to pay back my credit cards
6) I can terrorize surviving MAGA/Trump supporters as a ghost. LOL.

August 1st, 2017

This date holds no significance for me, except it's already August.

Where did the time go?
...

Survived the Obamacare repeal attempt.
...

The Whitehouse is a dumpster fire. So the Mooch got fired. He lasted a whopping 10 days.

LOL

Trump should hire Homer Simpson to replace the Mooch. If it doesn't work out, Sponge Bob is available. At this point, why not? It's not like you need brains to work for Trump. They're all cartoon characters anyways. They should fit right in.
